An image of a project for the subject of timber structures with professor Hansjorg Hilti the Din of the school. He proposed us to design a small building for modelmaking, extending the space we have allready in the studio. It's located outside the main building on the north part, in the garden, with connection througt one of the main exterior doors.
The intention is to use a big-special-expensive machine for cutting-modeling wood in all ways you can imagine, that the university owns.
So, my idea is to shape it as a model, with the organicity that is intrinsic to the wood.
Think the interior as an open space - emotive space.
This building is to be constructed, and the winner will see his/her project beeing built.
Now the hardest part, the construction, detailing... good luck!
1. in Lucarno - Switzerland
From the Liechtenstein Alps to Italian Alps.
I have stopped to see the city with my three Italian friends – Caterina, Francesco e Petra.
We went to a fair with an excellent ambient on a medium age surroundings. Warming up with the hot wine.
2. Italian Architecture in Alps - I am fascinated
A crazy girl I saw in the street, or is Caterina? Caterina, thank you for the weekend! She invited me to pass the weekend at her house in the mountains on the base of Monte Rosa.

I wish I had more time to write a little bit more,

Here you are, Kunstmuseum – Bregens, Austria near Lake Constance, from Peter Zumthor.
A minimalist building that makes part of a larger group of museums spread by many small towns around this area.
Anyway, who want to read texts when one can have pretty legs and building corners?
